The caves were formed by thermal waters during millions of years. 4 caves are open to the public: the Pálvölgyi Dripstone Cave, the Szemlőhegy Cave, the Castle Cave and the Buda Castle Labyrinth. All four are hydrothermal caves, resulting in many unexpected passageways and beautiful natural formations. |
