Program
Day 1 Arrival in Budapest
Upon arrival at Budapest airport you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time during the day you might even have time for a short walk.

Day 2 Basilica & Synagogue
Let’s make a start in the City Park, Vajdahunyad castle. Here you can see a perfect copy of the Roman-style church of Ják. Walk along Andrássy street, the most spectacular avenue of Budapest up to St. Stephen’s Basilica. Near you’ll also find Deák tér church such as the main Synagogue and Rókus chapel. We provide you with city transport tickets.

Day 3 City and Gellért Hill
Today you discover the churches of the inner city: Váci utca, Kálvin tér – and visit the Cliff Chapel on Gellért Hill, Buda side. Optionally, or at the end of your visits, you can enjoy the Gellért Bath and a flavoury dinner afterwards.

Day 4 Pest and its churches
We propose to see some churches the usual city tours are not showing – but also worth a visit. With our route proposal in your hand you’ll easily find them. We invite you for dinner at the end of the day.

Day 5 Free for leisure
You may want to return to some places you’d seen in the previous days – or just stroll around. Another proposal: guided tours of the Basilica are available several times a day.

Day 6 Buda – Castle District
The Castle ditrsict is a ’must’ for all visiting Budapest. Mathias Church, Royal Palace, National Gallery, Fisherman' Bastion – just some examples of the treasures up on Castle Hill. Walk downhill and see the churches on Batthyány tér and cross the Danube along Chain bridge. You day ends with dinner.

Day 7 Surprise !
Today you will see the biggest basilica of Hungary – and enjoy a spectacular train ride along the Danube. We invite you for lunch. Return to Budapest in the evening hours.

Day 8 End of trip
Your taxi takes you to the airport. We hope you bring along nice memories of the „pilgrimage”in Budapest.
