Speaking about monuments of Hungary, the Baroque ones are the most widespread and in the best condition too. This tour takes you to many places all over Hungary, you will see a lot of the countryside besides Baroque, too.

Budapest - Gödöllö - Vác -Keszthely - Pápa - Eger.

Program
Day 1 Arrival in Budapest
Upon arrival at Budapest airport you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time during the day you might even have time for a short walk.

Day 2 Budapest
During a sightseeing tour you can get aquainted with the main sights of Budapest. In the afternoon, you take a short train ride to the picturesque Baroque town, Szentendre. Return to Budapest in the evening hours.

Day 3 Gödöllő
Train ride to Gödöllő and visit in the Grassalkovics castle - beloved place of Queen Elisabeth („Sissi”). Don’t miss the Baroque Theater, the castle park and the Castle Café either . Return to Budapest by train.


Day 4 Vác
Today, a train ride will take you to Vác, in the Danube Bend, extremely rich in Baroque monuments. Don’t forget to bring along your camera !

Optionally, or in the afternoon book a „Bathe and Dine“ program in Budapest.


Day 5 Keszthely
West of Lake Balaton, the city of Keszthely is home to a wonderful Baroque castle. On your train ride there you’ll pass by Lake Balaton, the biggest warm water lake of Central Europe, beloved summer holiday venue. Dinner and overnight in Keszthely


Day 6 Pápa
Transdanubia – the region North of Lake Balaton – has lots of hidden treasures, too. One of them is the tiny Baroque town, Pápa. Take a walk in the town – or optionally, spend some hours in the „Várkert” (Castle Patk) Spa. Return to Budapest by train.


Day 7 Eger
A Baroque route would not be complete without visiting Eger. After a trin ride, take a walk in the medieval castle and taste the famous Eger wines. We treat you with a lunch of game specialities. Return to Budapest by train.

Day 8 End of trip
Your taxi takes you to the airport. We hope you bring along nice memories of Baroque Hungary.
