Danube 2 : From Budapest to the Southern border of Hungary - 2009 - 440 € Leisure cycling, 8 days/ 7 nights This tour is an ideal and lighter addition to the Vienna – Budapest sector or can be done separately. However, the distance to cover is shorter than that of the latter so allows more time to stop for a snack or simply to admire the environment. You will first drive all way long the Csepel Island, leave it to take the cycling trail on the dam of the left bank, then after driving through the Mohács Island you reach the southermost point of the tour. From there you drive North on the right bank all through the forest in a beautiful National Park. You take a train back to Budapest.
